Coordinate the evening practical nursing program, involved in student discipline, academic counseling, scheduling. Instruct practical nursing students in the classroom and clinical setting, teach the following courses: Fundamentals of Nursing, Pharmacology, Basic Skills, Medical Surgical Nursing, Mental Health, and Entry into Practice. Follow lesson plans/ curriculum guides according to WV LPN Board guidelines, participate in local advisory council board meeting

Performed weekly physical assessments on assigned residents in long-term care setting, assisted with other administrative tasks as needed.

Charge nurse of pediatric/medical surgical unit, demonstrated safe care of pediatric and surgical patients, maintained infection control and safety measures with all patient contacts.
