Volunteer Ambudsman

I am an advocate for the elderly patients in the nursing home. I work under the office of long term care. My duty is to go into my assigned facility and speak to each and every one of the residents. Making sure their lights are answered, they're getting the proper patient care. Make sure they are eating properly and not being abused. I make sure the patient techs have what the need to provide adequate care for the patient. I also make sure that the books are up to date. Letting the patient know about their rights in the facility. If anything was to go wrong I would report it to my regional Amdudsman.
