Michele Streitman

I was responsible for starting up the library, there was not a collection when I started. However, my role as Assistant CTC was called on much more than my role as librarian. Most of my time was spent on Telpas, G & T, and STAAR testing.

• Assisted students in locating and using library resources and assisted teachers with materials needed to enrich classroom instruction.
• Researched and acquired new library materials to maintain updated library collection.

• Catalogued and organized books, materials and other documents for proper library management.

• Humanitarian of the Year 2022-23
• Worked at the elementary school level for 4 years then asked to open the new middle school.

Assisted the specials team as a way of easing myself back into education after a long leave of absence.

• Differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs, ensuring each student had an equal opportunity for success.

• Gifted and Talented/Regular Classroom teacher self-contained
