Great Catch Award

Discovered the surgeon's office had scheduled a patient to have a surgery that was not intended for him. Using patient identifiers and discernment, I perceived there was a problem and investigated the situation. Through telephone conversations with the surgeon's scheduler and a family member of the patient, we were able to rectify the situation to ensure the correct patient was scheduled for the correct surgery.
