• Assisted dentists chairside with resin fillings, sealants, veneers, crowns, bridges, restoring implants, extractions, PRF, root canals, ortho, fixed & removable prostheses, biopsies, laser treatments, botox, appliances, digital dentistry, etc.
• Performed chairside duties including intra-oral scanning, passing instruments, suctioning, mixing materials, impressions, exposing radiographs, adjusting appliances, etc.
• Performed lab work including pouring models, printing models, printing appliances, mounting models, processing & customizing porcelain, fabricating retainers, repairing appliances, etc.

• Other duties: sterilization, room set-up & tear down, front office duties, billing insurance, scheduling, typing clinical notes, lab communication, patient education, etc.

• Chairside assisting with all general dentistry, digital, cosmetic, operative, clear aligner orthodontics, oral surgery, limited periodontics, endodontics, prosthodontics, radiology, and expanded functions duties.
• Assisted dentists chairside with coronal polishing, digital radiographs (sensor and phosphor plates), fluoride applications, sealants, composites, veneers, bonding, amalgam, sedative restorations, crowns, bridges, implants, root canals treatments, partials, dentures, extractions -simple and surgical, CEREC, whitening, laser therapy, intraoral imaging, and silver diamine fluoride.
• Practiced expanded functions such as occlusal registrations, gingival retraction, final impressions, fabrication and removal of provisional restorations, cavity liners/bases, desensitizing agents, bonding systems, pulp vitality testing, monitoring nitrous oxide, preliminary charting, and removal of adhesives.
• Lab work such as taking impressions (alginate, PVS, and final), models, trimming, whitening trays, custom trays, mouth guards, Essix, and orthodontic retainers.
• Practiced right and left-handed dentistry. Ordering, inventory, and organization of supplies to be used by the operative faculty in the FGP and for the operative residents to use in their respective clinics. Working primarily with faculty, operative residents, and senior dental students. Lead assistant in the operative resident clinic: responsible for chairside assisting, additional training of operative materials, guidance, and maintaining the clinic.

Clinical adjunct faculty for the dental assisting program. Instructed 5-15 dental assisting students at a time while they completed clinical rotation externships. Responsible for instructing students on proper infection control requirements, basic fundamentals of dental assisting, and daily grading.
