Teach life and transition skills along with core content instruction. Developed & teach LINKS Peer to Peer general education course. Created and lead LINKS Student Advisory. Implemented UNIFIED Sports and weekly Community Based Instruction @ Meijer. Launched monthly community service and the LHS Greenhouse Project. Applied for and received UNIFIED CHAMPION SCHOOL status for LHS. Received 2024 College Football Playoff Foundation "Touchdown for Teacher" award and honored at Ford Field.

2021-2022: Rockford HS. Delivered effective and differentiated classroom instruction to range of
ASD/CI grades 9-12 in self-contained setting. Supervised students in community settings and work based learning sites.

2022-2023: East Rockford Middle School. Resource room teacher. Co-teacher Reading Lab as well as two general education ELA courses.

Virtually utilized interactive teaching methods, including Total Physical Response (TPR), props, and educational tools, to increase student engagement and understanding of the English language. Students, ages 3-16, were located in China.

Instructed high school students, grades 11-12, enrolled in "dual enrollment" college courses within my CTE course. Students earn three college credits, in either Introduction to Psychology or Supportive Communication Skills, through River Valley Community College.

Designed & taught two CTE programs: Teaching & Learning and Coaching and Leading. Instructed students in grades 11-12 interested in fields of teaching, coaching and leadership. Topics covered range from investigating field of education, types of coaching and leadership skills. Supervised all students out on various cooperative education experiences.

Case managed 18 students in grades 9-12, taught strategic skills to students with various disabilities in a resource setting. Co-taught an English Workshop with a regular educator. Vermont Lab School reading instructor for incoming freshman & advised 12 regular ed. students. Mentor in the HSD Mentoring Program.

Taught summer school classes for four years for elementary age special education students who needed Extended School Year services
