Summary

I have been a certified Home Health Aide (HHA) for 6yrs, since 2018. I have worked with patients needing temporary assistance, patients needing long time care, geriatric patients, patients on end-of-life care and many more. I decided to work on attaining my BSN in nursing to expand my scope of practice when I came to realize my limitations working as an HHA. During my clinical experiences, I worked on the Medsurg floor, the Pediatric ward, the Maternity ward, and even had brief experiences working in the ER and ICU. I have witnessed and aided in procedures like wound care, natural birth, and surgeries.
