  • Scheduling surgical procedures with accuracy for all of Surgical services using EPIC hardware. That includes: Surgery, Endoscopy, Pain Management, Endoscopy procedures and ECT's. Working with core staff including Physicians and Anesthesia to make sure surgery schedule is effective with maximum efficiency and use of time.
  • Billing for all of Surgical Services. Using EPIC system making sure that all charges are correct for all of Surgical Services. That includes surgeries, Medical procedure unit (Endoscopy, Pain management, OPI) ECT's and also includes Diagnostic Imaging cases. Knowledge of ICD-10 coding and CPT/procedure coding.
  • Checking to make sure supplies and Implants were documented in case correctly. Working with reps for Implants to make sure pricing is correct. Working in Lawson and doing inventory management for all of Surgical Services.
  • Working with different reports in EPIC system for scheduling and billing. Working in InfoView system for statistic reports that were due sometimes quarterly, monthly and yearly. Revenue integrity management.
  • Assigning staff and Anesthesia staff on daily basis.
  • Perform various Clerical and Administrative tasks. Answering Main OR phone lines, surgery scheduling phone line and Endoscopy scheduling line.
  • Review of scheduling and billing to have best accuracy with no errors.
  • Scheduling of Interpreters for all of Surgical Services.
  • Multitasking is key along with having great Customer service skills.
