Trained in molds,quality, and that's. why i work hands on with new employees .Its a little over whelming at first to new employees. I can tell when they r getting over whelmed .so i just give them a little pep talk to get them motivated. Im also show up for work everyday . I do not like letting my people down . i have been working at CTA , and now know as of Treves-CTA starting my 9th year i have had perfect attendance for at least7 1/2 years

I start out by doing orientation telling the group of new employees a few thing about what we do here. I show a little film that shows them a little bit of the kinds of machines we have at Treves-Cta and just go over some of what is expected of them. I go over bad parts as I train them on the molds

  • I check the parts that we have gotten a customer complaint on that come from the cell before they get put up in the warehouse. If we find any damaged parts we document it on a sort sheet. That helps keep track of how much scrap containment finds on each shift. I would also take the damaged part back to the cell it was ran on and show the person who was checking the part what they missed. I decided to change position to get a little more experience in the company.

  • I would take the material and put it in the mold and then when the mold opened i took them to the water jets and after that .I placed the part on the checking fixture,then place the good part in a crate .When i put the the amount it calls for. I put the shipping labels on.

Janitor

I started at cta about 8 years ago as a janitor,,i would clean the breakrooms all restrooms and lockers .Then i would go around and dust the yellow safety rails ,and poles,water stations Then i go out and clean the outside breaking areas empty all trash cans. I choice to leave this position To move up a step.
