UPS replacement for the data center facility in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The project utilized MOP’s and KPI’s to ensure quality and safety standards were upheld. Zero interruptions were allowed throughout the replacement process. Our team worked diligently to communicate with all operations, IT, and design team members to execute this project successfully.

Contract Amount: 5 Million

Confidential Financial Client Phase 2 – Winston-Salem, North Carolina This project was the second phase of UPS replacement systems for the data center facility in North Carolina. The design-build project encompasses the replacement of 5 UPS systems including batteries and overhead feeders, renovation of CRAC units, installation of additional UPS equipment, and various building renovations. This was the largest Lithium Ion battery replacement, from lead acid batteries, in the country at the time of its completion.

Confidential Financial Client Underground Fuel System Replacement – Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Replacement of an underground fuel system with an NCDEQ compliant above-ground system. Through complex logistics, we managed operations and large equipment in a confined space near an operational loading dock. A main priority was minimizing the dock shut-down time while proper removal of the system was completed. Once this was completed, we were able to fill and re-pave the area. Installation of the new system was coordinated and completed around the removal activities and tied-in to the existing systems.

Confidential Financial Client Infrastructure Remediation Preconstruction Services – Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Preconstruction services to budget, establish project timelines, and provide constructability reviews for the infrastructure remediation project. The scope being assessed is to provide overall maintenance and upgrades to the mechanical plant and computer room cooling system, modify generator and feeders to meet Tier IV compartmentalization, and UPS system for continuous cooling.
