Compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant with extensive experience at Stockhoff Memorial, skilled in patient care and vital signs monitoring. Proven ability to enhance residents' quality of life through personalized support and engaging activities. Strong communicator with a commitment to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for all residents. All in all I want my residents to know that I care and I will do what I can to make them comfortable, no matter the position I hold NA, activities, or laundry/housekeeping.
I assisted residents with daily living( day/ night shift). I helped the residents by assisting them with eating, showering or using the restroom if they needed the extra assistance. I (depending on shift) would help them get ready for they day by picking clothes, helping wash their face, brush their hair and teeth or I would assist them in getting ready for bed changing into their night clothes, pulling their covers back on the bed, and setting up their morning routine if they wanted. I assisted in transfers of residents also ( bed to wheelchair or wheelchair to toilet). I done my best to make them comfortable while they were staying there.
In laundry, I would wash, dry and fold the clothes of my residents and also the linens for Ozark Manor. When I wasn't performing my NA/CNA duties I was in the laundry room, once the laundry was done I would deliver it.
I assisted my residents here with daily life(nightshift). I recorded vitals and BMs for the charge nurse, I cleaned the lift equipment and restocked our incontinence products(assigned chores from our D.O.N. to be split between the CNAs), I gave residents their showers if they required assistance and helped them use the restroom if needed, along with the changing of disposal underwear for those who wore them. I would also on occasion train new CNAs and assist my charge nurse with wound bandage changes. We'd done bed checks on all our residents to make sure they were ok and didn't require our charge nurse or a visit to the ER.
I continued to work as a CNA until about 4/5 months into my pregnancy in 2017 then I was switched to day shift in the activities dept. In activities, I helped residents socialize with each other, provided them with snacks and coffee/water/juice, I was in charge of their games nights such as phase 10 or bingo nights. We also enjoy crafts such as ornaments. We also helped put together little get togethers(family invited also) like dances, dinners, and birthday parties.

I along with my fellow coworkers had a chore schedule (i.e. cleaning wheelchairs, hoyer lift/sit-to-stand machines, and restocking our shelves of incontinence products). While working here I also attending classes to receive my CNA license at their "sister" home in Farmington,Mo.
I worked here while in college. I would run the register (count down at the end of the night also), clean the station and parking lot, cleaned the coffee and soda machines, restocked the coolers and shelves, made pizzas, and was a key holder which allowed me to also train new hires for management/owners.
