Was put in charge with mixed age groups from two to five years old. Did circle time, lesson plans, monthly planning, and newsletter communication with parents. Potty-trained two year olds. Worked with each child individually and created seven learning center curriculums.

Was put in charge of a three-year old preschool classroom with a mentor for sixty days and then on my own. Set up seven learning centers on top of doing circle time. Handled monthly scheduling, and created lesson plans and newsletters for children's parents. Communicated regularly with parents regarding their child's progress. Achievement: Children became more involved with writing skills, learning to write their names, letters, and numbers, as well as how to draw shapes and incorporate color and words.

Worked with two year olds in conjunction with another teacher. My responsibilities included leading the older two year olds, setting up a circle time and a centers like manipulatives, writing, math, and literacy. I also worked with them on potty training , along with recognizing colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. Prepared student for preschool independency.
