  • Although I have had two different careers, one in hospitality and one in sales I believe I have excelled due to my communication skills I am approachable, relatable and an effective communicator which also means that I am a great listener As a former business owner and having prior management experience I have learned an incredible amount of useful information This includes what motivates people, how they want to be spoken to, how they want to be perceived and treated It is important to understand these things when trying to sell them something A sales strategy that works for one family will not usually work for another Being able to decipher these motivations often helps close the sale The most important leadership quality that I possess is the idea that you must lead by example I am not a person to pass off a difficult or uncomfortable task because it might be beneath me or something I would pay an employee to typically take care of I always worked side by side my staff in the cafes In New Home Sales as a Jr agent I wrote contracts for my superiors knowing that I would never see any compensation for the sales contracts that I wrote myself I took the knowledge from that position and landed at a community that benefited from the things that I learned
