As a full-time nurse for Healthtrust work for solutions, I am contracted to five local emergency departments and work as a full-time internal travel for HCA to whatever facility has critical staffing storages in their emergency department for nursing.

As an internal travel nurse, I have to be confident in all emergency room, skills, such as trauma, comprehensive cardiac care, comprehensive stroke care, ability to run urgent codes.

Triage patients as walk-ins through the front door or by EMS, including being able to accurately assign an ESI levels and decide which patients need more urgent care.

Be confident on how to control the flow of an emergency department from the triage area

Be a team player by always utilizing team triage and teamwork abilities to achieve more accurate timely care for critically sick patients

Assess medicate medically task and meet the physical and emotional needs of emergency room patients

Provide support to full-time staff at that facility as a senior nurse in the emergency department

Promote a positive educated and safe working and patient care setting for coworkers and patients

Able to adjust to changes between facilities and perform my responsibilities of an emergency room, nurse at any HCA facility to which I’m assigned
