TRIO has been a quiet but steady force in my journey. Having that support system, especially as a first-generation student navigating college without a roadmap, has made an enormous difference. My involvement in Campus Ministry has fed a different but equally important part of who I am. Faith has always been an anchor for me, and being part of that community gives me a sense of purpose and belonging that carries me through hard seasons. Taking on a Marketing and PR role within Campus Ministry has also allowed me to grow in ways I did not expect, learning how to tell stories, communicate meaningfully, and connect people to something bigger than themselves. Those are skills I carry into everything I do. Being a member of Augsburg's Student Government has pushed me to step into leadership in ways I never imagined for myself. Having a seat at the table, using my voice to represent my fellow students, and being part of decisions that shape campus life has been both humbling and empowering. It has taught me that my voice matters.
