Office nurse: Enhance patient satisfaction and safety by assisting physicians with procedures, collecting data, teaching and doing dressing changes. Phone nursing and handling of electronic mail.

Assisting physicians in the OBL by direct assist and or floating in the room. Proficient at running equipment as well as scheduling maintenance for equipment, managing reps required and new reps requested by physicians. Ordering and maintaining of all disposable supplies, updating and handling the invoicing system for pricing and new equipment.

Maintaining the lead required for use by staff and teaching for correct use/safety

Mentoring and assisting with teaching for new staff to the OBL, keeping current staff updated on changes in equipment or processes

Utilize sterile techniques and infection control guidelines

Perform pre-operative assessments to prepare patients for OBL and or surgery

Perform pre-calls to patients, educate, check labs and meds as well as evaluating for problems update charting with any changes
