Work History

RME Technician II

Amazon
02.2022 - Current
  • Ensure a safe work environment by maintaining department cleanliness and organization.
  • Completed standard matter expert (SME) training on parcel handling equipment. Equipment functions with a combination of modular belts, merge aligners, delayering belts, and gapper rollers that singulate packages for metering and systematic transportation.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance procedures with proper documentation.
  • Handle work orders with detailed supporting data.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to MHE which includes motors, photo-eyes, relays, belts, and additional components.
  • Track and store department inventory.

Production Associate

Tesla Motors
09.2020 - 08.2021
  • Operate machinery such as CNC machines and Fanuc robotics to perform precision hole drilling from start to finish.
  • Handled pneumatic tooling for parts production.
  • Monitor processes to maintain machinery function.
  • Inspect and repair products with precision measuring tools to meet project expectations.
  • Troubleshoot tooling issues to repair and report diagnostics.
  • Examine final product for conformance with quality and design standards.
  • Promote a safe work environment.

Skills

Maintenance and repair

Projects

  • Utilized the Compound reflective microscope to observe microstructure properties and phases of metallographic samples which were then sketched for record.
  • Utilized the Tinius-Olsen universal testing machine to become acquainted with antistrophic materials such as metals, plastics, and wood in the compression test.
  • Charpy test and IZOD test were executed with a pendulum impact tester to assess material toughness under sudden impact.
  • Performed Jominy testing with the Delta DT-29 metallurgic furnace to test hardenability between plain carbon steel and low alloy steels.
  • Conducted tension tests on sample of 1018 hot rolled steel using the ADMET universal testing machine. The outcome of the test is then plotted as a stress-strain curve on a graph and obtained elastic modulus, yield strength, ultimate tensile strength, and elongation.
  • Utilized the Rockwell hardness tester to test metal alloys (1018HR, 5160HR) for hardness and ultimate tensile strength.
  • Preformed heat treatment of steel samples using a metallurgical furnace which shows how hardness and ductility are changed by thermal processing. Heat treatments include: full anneal, quench hardening, and quench hardening followed by tempering.
  • Constructed models of unit cell structures to identify various crystallographic phases and directions.
  • Made use of various measuring tools including calipers (vernier, digital, dial), micrometers, combination square, engineering/architectural scales, and digital scale to measure various materials for experimental procedures.
  • Fabricated lathe turning tool and sample pieces using machine tooling such as a vertical milling machine, lathe, drill press, saws, and pedestal grinder.
