- Assist students and teachers in locating and using library resources.
- Assist teachers with materials needed to enrich classroom instruction.
- Develop lessons and activities to teach students technology and library skills.
- Promote library use and advocate for children's literature programs and services.
- Remove and replace outdated materials from library's collection to increase circulation and maintain interest of students and teachers.
- Maintain library budget, expenses, and student fines.
- Host book fairs to provide reading materials for students and families which also helps add funds for needed library materials and resources.
- Train staff, students and faculty on use of library technology.
- Schedule and coordinate use of library equipment and technology among teachers and staff.
- Revamp and regularly update library and school website.
