6 months - general practice/prosthodontist resident

• Function as an independent dentist, completing wide range of restorative/prosthodontic procedures, seeing approximately 9 patients/day.
• Present complex/multi-specialty treatment plans biweekly to co-residents/staff dentists. Receive feedback to improve my treatment planning skills.
• Present a large, multi-unit restorative case to all dentists on staff including pre/post operative intraoral photographs, images of lab work, images of preps/temporization/final delivery.

3 months - oral surgery resident

• Complete simple or surgical dental extractions with use of surgical handpiece, perform dental endo-osseous implant surgery, place bone graft
• Capture and interpret CBCT images to plan for dental implant placement
• Place IV lines for IV sedation patients
• Perform oral surgery treatment in an OR setting with a patient under general anesthesia
• Prescribe various antibiotics or pain medications. Learn how to manage patients with alveolar osteitis, sinus exposure, or other post-op complications

3 months - periodontal/endodontic resident

• Will complete soft tissue and osseous surgeries: free gingival graft, crown lengthening, flap and debridement
• Will perform simple and complex root canal procedures: both single and multi rooted teeth, calcified canals
