Front End Manager

As a front end manager I was responsible for all of the front end associates including cashiers, service workers, and accounting associates. My job included multiple tasks, some of which were hiring, scheduling, attendance, compliance, and daily accounting. Daily I would open the store and assign associates to their correct tasks. This may be a register, a self checkout, money services or the service desk. I also assisted other departments with help as needed. I was responsible for researching all longs and shorts, and making sure that all accounting processes are done correctly. I led my team to appropriately service our customers on the front end at Walmart.

  • During my time at Walmart I also worked as an Asset Protection Investigator. In this position I was responsible for the financial health of the store. I would often work surveillance by camera in the AP office. I also spent time walking the store to ensure safe work practices by our associates, and a safe shopping area for our customers. I was responsible for "shrink" which is money lost by the store either through theft or incorrect processes. I regularly verified high ticket trucks to ensure inventory numbers, and when needed filed claims to recover money for missing product. I was apprehension trained and therefore could apprehend customers for theft purposes when needed. I worked closely with Oklahoma PD to prosecute when necessary.

  • As an account manager I was responsible for approximately 400 delinquent collection accounts. My job included skip tracing when needed to locate consumers. When located I would immediately file suit and begin the collection process. This included inbound and outbound calls to the consumers home and place of employment. I would investigate the assets of my consumers in order to decide the most efficient way for repayment to my client. This included wage garnishment, property liens, bank account liens, and voluntary payment.
