~Developed and implemented lesson plans based on curriculum objectives in all subjects for grades Pre- K through 3. Designed lessons consisting of hands-on activities and technology incorporating reading and math small group centers based upon varying academic levels.

~Concentrated 5th grade math instructor for 3 years. Math instruction based on researched strategies using whole group and guided math centers as well as project based learning to reinforce skills. Collaborated and Co-taught Eureka Math curriculum. Incorporated growth mindset strategies to encourage students who lacked confidence in mathematical abilities and negative thinking patterns.

~Currently, 5th grade concentrated science instructor. Targeted lessons incorporating experiments to enhance knowledge of topics and research projects to further their understanding and empower them to analyze information to form higher level thinking. Lessons created include experiences for all learning styles.

~STEM Instructor after school program. Also, developed and executed lessons, both small group and individualized, for a 3rd grade extended day program to benefit identified at-risk students by enhancing deficient areas as they prepared for end of year standardized testing.
