• Provides oversight and guidance to all areas of Health Administration Service , to include Enrollment and Eligibility, Outreach, Veterans Transportation, Decedent Affairs, Patient Funds, Health Information Management, Clinic Profile Management, Group Practice Management, Scheduling, MyHealtheVet, and Primary Care Management Module.
• Prepares and executes budget for Health Administration Service, consisting of 145 FTE.
• Works closely with Executive Leadership in planning, strategizing, and formulating policy related to Health Administration Services.
• Utilizes various software applications and reporting modules available in VA National and Local databases, to analyze and report data/metrics to various local, and VISN committees.

• Oversight of all aspects of Health Informatics and staff, to include Health Informatics Specialists (CAC's), BCMA Coordinators, Release of Information, Coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement, and Scanning.
• Worked collaboratively with Providers, Nursing, and other Clinical staff to improve quality of patient records documentation.
• Participated in committees to discuss electronic health records and methods to improve overall workflows.
• Oversaw education/ training of new providers, clinical staff on use of Electronic Health Record (CPRS).
• Served as Alternate Privacy/FOIA/Records Management Officer
• Oversight/Management of Veterans Service Center for greater than 10 years, to include AOD's, Eligibility/Enrollment, Veteran Transportation, Beneficiary Travel, Decedent Affairs, Hoptel, and Patient Funds

• Oversight of all aspects of Health Information Management, to include Coding, Release of Information, Tumor Registry, Medical Transcription, File Room
• Responsible for development of departmental budget.
• Successfully underwent 2 Joint Commission surveys with no findings related to Health Information/Medical records.
• Participated in committees to discuss electronic health records and methods to improve overall workflows

Oversaw all operations of Health Information Management in a small, rural, community Hospital.

• Directly supervised staff in Release of Information, Coding, File Room, Tumor Registry.
• Assisted Medical Records Director with creation and implementation of policies related to Health Information Management. and acted in her absence.
