Make sure any cheese contact surfaces are clean and sanitary. Throwing cheese on the belt in a timely manner to make sure our products are being shipped on time. Ensure all cheese products are sealed and dated correctly. Also packaged and palletized to customers standards.
Load industrial sized rolls of paper into their positions. Feed through the line to the gluer making sure all guides are set to the proper measurements. Continuing through the gluer and to the panel line also making sure all panel beds are set to the correct heights. Once through the panel line I adjust numerous blades to the right measurements to cut through the panel. And finally converting my fractions to decimals to make the cross cut.
Adding or removing shims to make sure metal comes out shaped correctly. Spraying lubricant properly to ensure no stress points are visible. I also had my forklift license so I was able to remove and switch dies depending on the job.
