Established a seven-member productivity team and delegated operational tasks to six instructors and one administrative assistant. Worked closely with interim director and grants administrator to ensure data collection for reporting was met prior to deadline.
● Ensured grant deliverables were met. Completed all paperwork regarding contract and payment for instructors, guest speakers, and tutors
● Connected with youth on individual development plan and goals, quarterly one-on-ones with students about their grades and bi-weekly check-ins regarding school
● Constant communication with Anchorage School District’s Indian Education counselors
Worked closely with the Director of Cultural Tourism, Sales, Facility Manager, Cultural Programs Manager, Interns and Tour Directors to monitor the logistics of the group luncheons, dinners, and private presentations
● Coordinated with the caterer, linen, and supply companies to ensure correct amount of food (including dietary restrictions) were met and linens are available
● Train and instruct interns on the set-up/break-down of each group meal. Created reports after each meal service was complete
● Weekly updates on tour group visits. Scheduled private presentations which included: dance performances, Native Youth Olympics demonstrations, culture bearer storytelling, and tours
● Oversaw daily operations of the department, ensuring smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks

● Managed calendars, scheduled recurring meetings and set-up/break down of each class, and tracked attendance
● Created copies of handouts, processed payments for instructors in a timely manner, and gathered refreshments for each evening class
