As a 21-year-old who went into the workforce early, my employment history shows my strong ability to learn new skills and my determination to develop the skills necessary to excel. My experiences have allowed me to demonstrate positive customer service relationships, organizational skills, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
As a Floral designer/Assistant Manager at Build a Bouquet my employment responsibilities grew rapidly. At first responsibilities included serving as a shop assistant, focusing on customer service and maintenance of the shop, working my way up to independently maintaining and running the shop while building an environment that demonstrates strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities as a floral merchandiser included managing the inventory at several locations, switching out new arrangements to maintain a fresh display , taking inventory , checking orders and culling unsaleable stock. As a merchandiser one is also responsible for assisting customers and communicating with the main office. Although the majority of the time was working independently, frequently collaboration with other merchandisers was necessary.
As a cashier at Hannafords, my responsibilities were to greet the customers, assist customers in their in-store check-out process, and ensure they are satisfied with their shopping experience.
