• Assigned the properly trained caregiver to the client based on training, personality, and location.
• Managed communications between clients and caregivers to make sure all needs were fulfilled.
• Utilized scheduling software (AxisCare) manage client and caregiver schedules. Managed up to 3200 hours per week.
• Hired caregivers to meet the needs of company growth and fulfill the needs of clients.
• Preformed background, references and all other relevant reviews before hiring.
• Oriented the caregiver to the companies policies and procedures.
• Made sure all caregivers were trained by another company caregiver in the home and then introduced to their clients before starting.
• All information given on client and had all knowledge of EVV and how to use their app for clocking in/out and all ADLS.
• Always answering the phone for possible new clients or clients questions also caregiver questions or concerns.

When I started working with Elder Independence I preformed the financial part of the business. We later outsourced the majority of this work.

• Utilizing QuickBooks and AxisCare I would preform all steps required for payroll and payroll taxes on Tuesday so the caregivers would be paid on Thursday.
• On Wednesday I would invoice and prepare to ACH all clients on Friday for the previous week. This all would be imputed into our bank manually.
• On Thursday I would prepare and submit all Long Term Care and Workers Compensation claims.
• I also kept the bank records reconciled and Credit Card.
• Provided the owner with Profit and Loss information and all other financial statements that were required.
• I also handed all workers compensation claims
• Of course always answered phone calls for possible new clients or caregivers needing assistance.
