• Supporting Curriculum and Instruction: Collaborate with the Principal and teachers to implement and evaluate the school's curriculum. This includes ensuring alignment with educational standards and student needs.
• Teacher Development and Evaluation: Participate in teacher observations, provides feedback and coaching to improve instructional practices, and assist with teacher evaluations. Also help plan and lead professional development sessions for staff.
• Data Analysis: Analyze student achievement data to identify areas for improvement, inform instructional decisions, and monitor progress towards school goals.
• Promoting Academic Excellence: Work to create a school culture that prioritizes student learning and sets high expectations for academic growth for all students.
• Behavior Management: Oversee student behavior, enforces the student code of conduct, and handle disciplinary issues.
• Safety and Security: Help ensure a safe and orderly school environment, which can include monitoring hallways, cafeteria, and common areas, coordinating safety drills, and responding to emergencies.
• Attendance: Monitor student attendance and work with families to address truancy issues.
• Extracurricular Activities: Supervise and support extracurricular activities, clubs, and athletic programs.
• Scheduling: Assist in developing and managing master schedule for classes, teacher assignments, and extracurricular activities.
• Facility Management: Oversee aspects of the physical plant, including safety inspections, maintenance requests, and coordinating use of facilities.
• Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local education laws, district policies, and school procedures.
• Communication: Communicate regularly with students, teachers, parents, and community members regarding school policies, programs, student progress, concerns, and school events, and work to build strong school-home partnerships.
• Hiring and Onboarding: Assist the Principal in interviewing, selecting, and orienting new staff members.
• Fostering a Positive Climate: Work to create and maintain a positive school climate that encourages collaboration, professional growth, and high morale among staff.

During my years in these four schools, I took on different opportunities that allowed me to support teachers as part of the leadership.
