Responsible for hiring, training, scheduling and managing the Ambulatory Care Float Pool including deployment within various clinics and COVID operation sites. Supervises and assigns Float Pool staff to clinics to cover staff shortages as requested. Supports, evaluates and counsels all 40 direct reports as their direct supervisor. Responds to clinic manager's requests for unplanned staffing assistance and independently resolves staffing issues.
Currently managing PCC staffing for all COVID operations (testing and vaccination) for SHC. Leading bi-weekly huddle with COVID staffing team for planning and forecasting weekly operations.
Supporting the Business Staffing Office on all requests for temporary staff across Ambulatory Care and Service Lines. Interfaces with temporary agency vendors to ensure temporary staff meets SHC criteria and coordinate start and end date of assignments.
