Started the trade as a groundman where I gained very basic knowledge. Worked up to a pre apprentice where I gained the basic knowledge of how working on a line crew worked and got to work on dead lines. Attended a cold school and ac/dc class as well as a transformer class. Moved up through cold apprentice to hot apprentice. Combing my pre apprenticeship and apprenticeship I have around 3500-4000 hours of experience working on the line side.
Ran material, jack hammered pole holes, operated vac truck and helped cable splicers
