As a lead roustabout I responsable for supervising and coordinating the activities of the roustabout teams to ensure the safe and efficient operations of our drilling rig/platforms/ pads and or location batteries.

• Cut metal components to required lengths using various tools, adjusted plumb bobs, laser equipment, transits, and levels to align structural steel members, used gas welding equipment to weld metal parts, ensured proper installation by reading blueprints accurately, followed blueprints and supervisory instructions to erect columns, beams, and girders, made sure that site work was done safely and in accordance with the budget, schedule, and applicable building codes, used power saws, sanders, grinders, cranes, drill presses, forklifts, and basic hand tools, among other things, used torches, metal shears, and welding equipment to weld, cut, and bend steel as needed, reviewed engineering documentation to determine the order of construction operations, used appropriate safety measures and encouraged other team members to do the same in an effort to avoid job site injuries, learned how to use turnbuckles, crowbars, and jacks to align structural steel into final positions and have experience doing so, hydrostatic water testing was done, looked over specifications and blueprints and recommended the quantities, types, and sizes of materials needed for each job, placed a high value on punctuality and worked hard to maintain an excellent attendance record, consistently arriving at work ready to work right away, was in charge of installing, aligning, and balancing new equipment, followed standards and procedures to keep a safe working environment, used appropriate safety measures and encouraged other team members to do the same in order to avoid job site injuries, followed safety guidelines to fasten structural steel members and hoist cables, chains, and rope, read, understood, and followed written instructions to the letter, used schematic diagrams to plan my work, assisted crews with pipe joining, wrapping, and sealing, looked over work plans and blueprints to make sure the project met all of the requirements, had an excellent attendance record and was always on time for work, used hoisting equipment like cables, pulleys, and hooks to unload and position prefabricated steel and heavy equipment, aligned structural steel members in order to rivet, bolt, and weld them in place permanently, used a variety of tools to cut metal components to the required lengths, including metal shears, hacksaws, and bar cutters.
