• As CEO I lead the organization’s Strategic planning, goal setting, and objective development in collaboration with the board, State, and City entities. I Am inspiring and motivating staff, volunteers, and the board. An enthusiastic advocate for the blind and visually impaired community.

• Operational Management: Overseeing daily operations, including program delivery, fundraising, and administration. Responsible fiscal management, including budgeting, reporting, and controls. Human resources oversight, encompassing hiring, training, performance management, and compensation.

• Fundraising & Development: Developing and implementing a diversified fundraising strategy (grants, donations, sponsorships, events). Cultivating and maintaining strong donor relationships.

Overseeing grant writing and reporting. Serving as the organization's primary spokesperson and building a positive public image.

Advocating for policies supporting the rights and needs of the blind and visually impaired. Building and maintaining partnerships with relevant organizations and stakeholders. Foster strong connections with the blind and visually impaired community, ensuring their voices of the blind and visually impaired are heard.
