• SUMMARY
  -Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.
  -ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  -Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus.
  -Positions forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or
  materials or hooks tow trucks to trailer hitch, and transports load to designated area.
  -Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
  -Inventories materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed.
  -Loads or unloads materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
  -Recharges batteries or replaces liquefied gas tank for powered industrial truck.
  -Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
  -Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or powered industrial truck.
  -Loads materials onto vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  -Assists Driver in placing tarps over material when needed.
  -Unloads trucks with powered industrial truck.
  -Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
  -Cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
  -Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
  -Follows safety procedures, uses equipment and materials properly and encourages team members to use safe
  behaviors
  -Reports unsafe actions and conditions and maintains a clean work area.
  -Performs other duties as assigned.
