During my time at Hartford Hospital, I specialized in a cardiology heart failure / cardiothoracic surgery unit.

I have become certified in telemetry, LVADS, and step-down trained in the cardiology department.

I have also been charge nurse trained and been a preceptor to many new nurses.

Recently completed a nurse residency program which was a year long program through Hartford Hospital that helped hone my decision making and clinical leadership skills, incorporating research-based evidence into practice, and strengthened my professional commitment to nursing. At the completion of the residency, my team and I presented our project and recommendations to senior leadership, which they then utilized in real hospital settings.
