  • I started as a new graduate nurse in the pediatric cardiac ICU unit. The hospital I work for is a level 1 trauma center taking high volumes and the highest acuity patient's in the state. Our heart center is nationally recognized and is listed in the top 10 heart centers in the nation.
  • I completed all my advanced education and technical skills required of the facility and am able to care for high acuity patients.
  • The patient's under my care are typically pre-op or post-op congenital heart defect patients. Ranging from ASD/VSD closure, TGA arterial switch, hypoplastic arch reconstructions, valve replacements, single ventricle palliations, VAD placements, centrimags, heart transplants, and bedside care for patient's receiving ECMO, etc. Our heart center specializes in Berlin VAD placements and single ventricle palliations.
