I have been a part of working in several fields. In those fields, I have learned ways to put my skills and traits to good use in work, relationships, and life in general to society.
At Faith 11 Youth Ministry, I volunteer as a small group leader and worship team member.
In the small group leader position, I grow a mentor relationship with late middle school/ early high school girls. We will discuss our views and ask questions regarding the previously taught sermon.
In my worship position, I am a guitarist and vocalist. We as a team will perform several songs before each sermon, and practice them together before the youth group night begins.
I have been babysitting and watching over this young girl for most of her life. We play games, watch tv, go to the park, etc.
A lot of the time, her mom packs meals for her, but every now and then I need to jump in and cook a meal for her.
I have been involved in a variety of lawn care through a small local business. In this time, I have learned the following maintenance jobs: Lawn Mowing, Weeding, Planting, Plant Transplanting, Mulching, etc.
Now I just cut lawns for my neighbors on my own time.
I was asked by a friend of my mom's to assist in data entry in place of her daughter. Now that her daughter has more free time, she is taking over for me, so my time of working this job from home is on and off.
In this job, I take names from a list of orders and add them to a "Lead List" on a site called "LinkedIn."
I have performed in a plethora of different productions such as "The Chronicles of Narnia", "Alice in Wonderland", and even a few small murder mysteries. They have all given me a sense of confidence on stage.
I have also been a crew member helping in areas like prop preparation, set change/building, script writing, and even co-directing. I love this field so much, and I do not intend on stopping!
I have watched different types of pets from hamsters and to rabbits, to cats and dogs. I have even watched a parrot!
Sometimes, the requirement is to go check on the food and water levels and give the pet some undivided attention/love/walks. Other times I have been asked to live at the owners' house to give extra attention to more elderly pets.
