- Worked the weeks and few days preceding Christmas Eve, Christmas, and following New Year’s Eve and Day in Target’s strenuous and most busiest season.
- Cross-trained as a cashier and assistant in the tech department in Target.
- Learned to become familiarized with the backroom of Target and where to locate certain items for restocking, as well as become familiarized with the general location of various clothing items to pinpoint for guests and to know where to restock them.
- Zoned, or cleaned up and revamped areas within the style department to appear appealing to guests and conform to various stylistic trends in clothing and trends pertaining to seasonal themes—folding and refolding clothes as well as restocking from the backroom.
- Worked with team members to complete tasks, worked the fitting rooms and learned how to gather items for order pickups and restocking in allotted time periods.
- Became familiar with devices central to the functionality of Target and tasks assigned to complete.
- Communicated with managers, or team leaders, when difficulty arose in completing a task or collaboration was necessary to complete it.
- Engaged with an abundance of guests in the holiday season and assisted in tackling a variety of conflicts that arose for them to ensure customer satisfaction as well as acquiring and enhancing various skills—namely price-matching, directing guests to particular aisles and finding certain sizes and styles on clothing items, and working with money and calculation at the registers.
