Mike Carmichael

· Creates and edits programmable logic code within the PLCs and SCADA system to control or automate complex

treatment and distribution processes.

· Creates and edits workstation or remote HMI screens for monitoring and controlling treatment and distribution

processes.

· Coordinates with Operations, IT, Engineering, Maintenance and Distribution departments, as well as SCADA vendors

to meet SCADA needs.

· Troubleshoots water treatment operations and distribution problems related to SCADA processes.

· Reads and interprets electrical and electronic schematics for the purpose of design, installation or troubleshooting.

· Writes and interpret process control narratives.

· Researches industry trends and recommends the need for additions, changes or upgrades that may be necessary to

keep the system up to date.

· Tests all logic and graphics changes before deployment.

· Maintains accurate and legible logs and records or files in accordance with WaterOne policy and procedures and

governing laws and regulations.

· Documents all processes and changes related to the SCADA system.

· Performs all duties pertaining to hazardous waste operations in accordance with applicable requirements. · On a rotating schedule, responds to service calls outside of normal work schedule.
