  • Familiar with conduit types RMC,Aluminum RMC, PVC coated RMC, IMC, EMT, FMC, LFMC in various sizes primarily 1/2"-4"
  • Familiar with conductors ranging from 14AWG up to 750 kcmil
  • Terminations on various switches, receptacles, motors, panels, junction boxes and switchgears
  • Worked as much as 12 hour days, 7 days a week for months at a time on day shift & night shift

  • I routinely coordinated with the NJATC Training Director and Examining Board Members to ensure proper classification of newly organized members by means of obtaining job history from applicants as well as reviewing hands on testing results.
  • Attended dozens of conferences throughout the 4th District region (DC, MD, OH, KY & VA) and a handful outside the jurisdiction for the IBEW International (Chicago, Las Vegas) & Orlando for AFL-CIO Training

Eastern Virginia Labor Federation - AFL-CIO Delegate 2013-2017

  • Attended monthly meetings to discuss important issues & legislation affecting all local unions in the area
  • Served as Sergeant at Arms for Doris Crouse-Mays at the annual VA AFL-CIO meetings in Williamsburg 2015-2017
  • Phone banking & knocking on doors to get out the vote with union members on important issues such as Right to Work

  • Worked with company Superintendents, Foreman, IBEW local 80 as well as members in the field to ensure a safe and productive working environment
  • Made sure our collective bargaining agreement was observed at all times
  • Made sure safety concerns were addressed immediately
  • Communicated with the union hall on a regular basis to address manpower needs, attendance issues and overall job production status
  • Represented up to 200 members on site at production peak with deadlines rapidly approaching
