My return to Challenge Manufacturing was solely based off the promise of advancement in the workplace and an opportunity to join the apprenticeship program. To further my education in pursuit of getting my license as a journey men mechanic or electrician.

I joined Engine Power Components as a challenge to step out of my comfort zone and learn different types of machinery in which I have never operated, setup, or repaired. I was brought in to help strengthen there 3rd shift maintenance team and help implement and sustain a productive environment. While working at EPC I learned alot about repairing Cnc, lathes, mills and etc while also performing my daily duties which consisted of the following

• Troubleshot equipment breakdowns and performed preventive maintenance.
• Followed work orders and specifications for machine and equipment replacement, repair or maintenance.
• Quickly responded to internal service calls regarding malfunctioning equipment and completed repairs.
• Used problem-solving skills to alleviate issues efficiently with minimal supervision.

Challenge Manufacturing was the first place to offer me a position in maintenance and the opportunity to flourish in a skilled trade. During my time here I quickly learned and developed my skills as a mechanic with electrical knowledge who was also capable of programing and maintaining there most profitable and productive Comau robotics line. While also performing my daily duties which consisted of the following

• Performing electrical and mechanical repairs of production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Used problem-solving skills to alleviate issues efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshot equipment breakdowns and performed preventive maintenance.
• Followed work orders and specifications for machine and equipment replacement, repair or maintenance.
• Quickly responded to internal service calls regarding malfunctioning equipment and completed repairs.
• Program and troubleshoot the Comau robotics line while maintaining and ensuring its fullest potential during production runs

As Die Setter Technician I would over see start up and tear down of Production runs in Cold Stamp Department. I would aid Operators with any Technical issues Mechanical and Electrical (Program Software) and make sure there is minimal down time.
