  • Responsible for all things Kronos and payroll for a large, multi country database. Items include development, functional roles, collaborating with the business leaders and developing innovative out of the box ideas to make things better for the organization.
  • Over the years while being on the business side, I have been responsible for several innovative items that Kronos/UKG have adopted. 1. QR code punching that is now in the Dimensions mobile app. It started as an idea I had to use NFC tags to only allow punching on the mobile app when the employee was in our unit and also to capture the labor level transfer information on the tag to automatically pick up the transfer information. Fresenius medical care paid for 1/2 of the development of this and Kronos paid for the other half. This was added to the mobile app for Android phones. 2. Kronos Analytics came from me indirectly. I had an outside firm, Clarity Matters out of Atlanta, doing some custom reports for us. While doing this work they asked me if Kronos had a need for data warehousing. I thought that was a great idea and let them use my database and taught them the database tables and setup a meeting with Kronos management. Kronos liked it so much they aquired Clarity Matters and turned this into Analytics.
  • Developed and implemented comprehensive strategies to improve operational processes and organizational efficiency.
  • Directed the organization's daily operations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Collaborated with senior leadership to set long-term objectives for the company.

  • Worked on and managed support staff to repair Kronos time clocks all the way back to the beginning of clocks (sys 10, 20 and sys 70 time clocks) up to the latest version of time clocks.
  • Installed implemented and supported all versions of Kronos automated systems from TKCS to Client Server to the latest Workforce Central versions.
  • Was awarded the "All Star Award" in 1999 at the Kronos Sales and Service Conference in St Louis, MO.
  • Managed service staff to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with company policies.
  • Developed and maintained relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Resolved customer complaints in a timely manner.
  • Monitored service performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.

Affiliations

  • College baseball pitcher.
  • Became a marathon runner in my late 30's and have embarked on a goal to run a marathon in every state in the United States. (41 states completed with 9 to go).
  • Competed in two full Ironman races and multiple half Ironman distance races.
