20 Years? It's hard to believe I have been with this organization for that long. I am very proud to be a part of such a great culture and play a significant role with an organization that has seen so much success and growth.
I am also very proud of the Shipping department we have developed over time. In my opinion we have built an extremely efficient operation along with developing a versatile team that I think ownership and management should be proud of.
I believe I have developed over time into a leader that is well respected by employees and managers along with other professional relationships that have evolved over time.
I take pride in being a approachable, collaborative leader. I believe that because of where I started and how I communicate, I have an ability to connect with employees and managers in a different way that has played a significant role in the culture we have developed.
I am truly excited to be having conversation about aaa's General Manager position. That certainly wasn't on my radar early in my career. That said, I do believe I have developed into the right candidate for the job. I believe I have the collaborative leadership skills needed to lead this management team into the future.
I am well aware that this will require me to get closer to other departments and I will have plenty to learn, but I believe I can provide great value in doing so, contributing to future success.
I believe I have a pretty firm grasp on where the members of the management team are at in their careers with what they do well and what needs improvement. I will embrace the challenge of growing and elevating the management team and feel I am positioned well to do so.
