As the Assistant Wellness Manager I partner with the Wellness Manager to operate the department, including financial stewardship, customer service, department conditions, merchandising, food safety, work safety, communication and delegation of tasks. I ensure that the department provides the highest level of service and exceptional product knowledge. I provide outstanding customer service and contribute to a positive overall work environment. I am responsible for executing the standards, and daily workflow of the Wellness Program in all aspects. I am primarily responsible for display grid planning, promotional buying , as well as the bulk of merchandizing. In my role I have exceeded expectations by achieving waste reduction goals. My day to day includes effective communication and coaching, careful product ordering, inventory management, and fine attention to detail.

As a courtesy clerk I was responsible for all housekeeping responsibilities maintaining cleanliness and organization of the whole store and aisles to ensure a pleasant shopping experience. I supporting the front-end department with grocery bagging, carry-outs, and cashiering as needed. As a cashier I provided a final point of customer contact to ensure that all customer needs had been satisfied and that all items were carefully packed to ensure safe delivery to the home fridge. I learned how to memorize 50+ produce cards, how to balance and count-down a till and how to do all of this while having a fun conversation! I provided exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries and ensured a pleasant shopping experience.
