I am a self taught cook. I do most of my cooking at home where I try different recipes and different food techniques to sharpen my cooking skills. I first started working at El pollo loco as a cashier and worked my way up to shift lead even though I just wanted to become a cook but they showed me i had a higher potential than just being a cook. I left due to school but I have decided to take a year off to figure out my goals so I have been working in different kitchens ever since. I know there is a lot to learn but I am ready to learn it all and become the best at everything I do. Im very team oriented, I use to be an athlete until I was injured in high school so I have been focusing all my attention on getting better at cooking to become a professional chef. Im very up beat and a very fast learner and can be a great asset to any team.
I like to think I am very knowledgeable on cooking. Also skilled in preparing and cooking various dishes with focus on maintaining high standards of taste and presentation. Over time I have demonstrated the ability to work efficiently in fast-paced kitchen environments and collaborate effectively with team members.
