- Initiating proceedings upon the complaint of a citizen or upon my own initiative based on information from other sources, when I assess that there was or there still is a violation of the human rights

- Continuously monitoring and overseeing the application of international treaties, standards and regulations in the field of human rights

- Conducting research in order to have insight into the state of human rights, to identify problems and develop recommendations with a view to exercising, protecting and improving human rights

- Informing the competent authorities and the broader public on the violation of human rights

- Organizing conferences and campaigns in the field of human rights education and issues relevant to the realization of human rights, and participating in their implementation

- Acting preventively by mediating and giving advice and opinions related to issues of human rights

- Elected to the position of Deputy Ombudsman in accordance with the legal requirements: to have distinguished professional skills and high moral integrity and to have remarkable experience in the field of the protection of citizens’ rights

- Protecting the rights of children from any violations resulting from illegal, inexpediently and inefficient actions of administrative bodies

- Performing duties in accordance with fundamental principles of the Ombudsman's activity: legality, impartiality, independence and righteousness

- Within the scope of my duties, authorized to exercise all the prescribed powers of the Ombudsman

- Demonstrator for practical classes in Criminal Procedural Law

- Trained and led student teams participating in national moot court competitions

- Planned and coordinated extracurricular activities for students

- Responsible for organizing exam sessions and performing other record-keeping and administrative tasks
