Milton Rickman

My first job ever was working with my dad in the meat/ processing industry. I learned hands on many things, especially with packaging. I had a lot of experience with this work field growing up, and even to this day.

I currently am doing sales at the moment, for a small business. I don’t enjoy what i do currently, but it was the only option for me after leaving the Nation in my small town. It’s worked out for me ever since but i want to do something more: something better. I still have daily interactions with many people I don’t know and I do my best to brighten their day anyway i can. I have a key and the responsibility of closing almost every night, or opening if not closing.

I was a retail cashier at our towns most busiest gas station. The gas station next to our Casino, which is also 15 minutes from TX. I showed up with a smile everyday, even when i didn’t feel like it. I would work hands on with cash, customers/people and a fiscal/ terminal. I would do basic duties here and also help out my coworkers any time i could. Communication was a major role in this job. I had a lot of regulars that would request for my services and it was one of my most special jobs. I ended up having to leave when I did because of personal reasons

I worked at the District in Durant. I did a variety of things. From selling tickets, bowling lanes, arcade games and prizes, cleaning theaters, and overall having to provide customer satisfaction, i have a lot of experience with communicating to others (strangers), and doing my job as to give anybody who comes into my place of operation, the best experience they can get.
