In my current position I oversee the household goods and passenger companies. On a daily basis I review the new and renewing applications, assisting carriers via phone, email and walk in. When reviewing new applications i use multiple websites and systems to do the background checks, process payments, write and review publications and legal orders. I have recently assisted in updating the application and legal orders to streamline the process. i am currently reviewing the Indiana code and the Indiana administrative code regarding passenger and household good carriers to submit updated laws to the 2022 legislation. I often work with other agencies like the legal and policy departments along with ISP and Southeastern Trans to make sure that I am up to date on what the industry is doing and how to better serve our customers. I am excited to be learning the legal aspect of my job and am eager to further my education and knowledge.
