Hello, my name is Minerva Pineda and I am a First-Year student studying Symbolic Systems at Stanford University. I am a proud Mexican-American daughter of immigrants who comes from the sprawling city of Huntington Park in LA County. As a First-Generation, Low-Income student, I have grown to be resilient, responsible, and diligent, willing to take on any task placed in front of me. Most of all, I am committed to enrich my knowledge in the areas of Psychology and Computer Science, and open to new subjects of study.
