• Standardized the Engineering organization's code structure/pattern, database migration methods, local development environment, and data isolation strategy

• Enable more vehicles to be connected to the Smartcar platform by building and maintain integrations to OEM servers

• Integrated Subaru and Volvo to Smartcar platform, adding 3000 new vehicles as the result
• Centralized existing tools used for local development using Tilt, which enables engineers on the team to test changes against their local environment more efficiently and reliably

• Led the company's first major backend migration over to NestJS and graphQL, setting many new standards within the organization
• Architected and implemented a multi-provider load balancing system that are able to withstand outages from AI vendors, which is currently leveraged by the company for both text and image generation
• Architected and implemented a patented bulk content generation system that utilizes text extracted from uploaded documents as context

• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs to suport the business needs
• Write unit and integration tests to guarantee reliability of new and existing back-end services

• Developed and maintained a webhook service that tracks imaware test kits' real-time locations
• Architected, built, and expanded a REST API that streamlined the acceptance of test results transmitted from lab partners

• Scope and provide technical requirements for full-stack features for Verb platform as well as oversee and assist their development and improvement
• Maintain, monitor, and optimize Verb platform's underlying cloud infrastructure

• Designed, built, and deployed an SSO API to enable Verb's OAuth 2 integration with SAML and Azure Active Directory
• Migrated the platform's infrastructure deployment system from a home-grown solution to Terraform, benefitting from Terraform's support and community
• Architected and implemented an internal content management system with dynamic search and role-based access control
