• Welcoming patients and visitors, with a friendly and professional mannerism at all times.
• Making charts and reviewing everything for all new patient appointments.
• Day before calling to confirm appointments and/or reschedule them upon request.
• Assisting patients with completing necessary forms and documentation. Mostly our Spanish speaking patients.
• Keeping the waiting room clean at all times, as well as keeping the coffee bar stocked and replenishing exam rooms of gloves, table paper etc.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments, as well as ortho or chiropractic referrals at time of visit.
• Faxing, scanning, filing, and mailing documentation.
• Keeping a good and quick flow from waiting room to exam rooms to end of visit transaction.
• Printing Pt scripts, exercise packets, referrals, work notes etc.
• Monitoring and ordering stationery and clinical supplies.
• Maintaining information confidentiality at all times.
• Pulling, MRIs and X-rays done prior to that day’s appointment for doctors or providers to view.
• Requesting records release via phone, fax or email fax.
