Extracurricular Activities

Collegiate Softball Athlete, Spoon River College, Canton, Illinois, 08/01/19, 05/31/22, During my time as an athlete at Spoon River College, I had learned a lot of life lessons that made me the person I am today. Leadership skills was required for me adopt as a starting pitcher. Learning to work with others and accommodating with my teammates to be successful in our sport and as a team. This, along with many other skills like time management skills, ability to work under pressure, and respecting people above me like my coaches. While being part of the softball team, we had many volunteer opportunities to help connect with the community and perform selfless acts.

Collegiate Softball Athlete, Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina, Kansas, 08/01/22, 05/31/24, Following junior college, I went on to continue my academics and athletics at Kansas Wesleyan University. When coming to Kansas Wesleyan, my passion for the Criminal Justice field increased dramatically due to my advisor and instructors and it inspired me to want to protect and help citizens. While still being a student-athlete, I grew even more as a character and a leader by helping a bigger softball team work for a common goal. Looking into the different programs through Kansas Wesleyan, I found that Law Enforcement intrigued me and I want to be a part of that team once I am done with athletics and acquired my bachelors degree in Criminal Justice.
